                  Thank you so much to the amazing @heyitstonez for sharing 5 tips for new Artists trying to sustain a career as an Artist. If anyone knows at perseverance, hard work and dedication to their craft, it’s Tonia! It you’re not already, make sure you follow her asap! 1. Stay consistent! This can apply to your releases or with writing and creating! Making sure you’re keeping up the momentum can help to keep you inspired and also help with building your audience. 2. Trust your own gut! Listening to feedback from your friends and peers is always good but make sure to trust your own opinion which is the most important one! 3. Don’t rely on others to get things done. Taking initiative and handling tasks yourself not only helps you learn but also boosts your confidence. 4. Collaborate with new people and experiment with your music. Don’t be afraid to try new sounds, ideas or working with new people. You never know what doors could be opened or new spark could be created when trying new things! 5. Don’t compare yourself to other artists. It’s good to be inspired by others but remember everyone is in their own lane and creating their own paths.
